A busy week for Poplar Trees

A busy week for the boys this week, and some really great customers to go with it. Friday it was a real pleasure to work for the Allcocks in Chaddesden where we removed a large Conifer and a poorly Ash, Valerie Allcock has also linked with us on facebook and posted some pictures she took http://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=2229397904891&id=222325031138344

We also did some work for our fantastic neighbours Phil and Val at a rental they have in Draycott which wasn't much fun in the pouring rain? Thanks also to Kim McDonald for holding out for us as we were running a little late but we did manage to arrive just before she had to leave for work. Here we removed a Deodar that was planted far too close to the house, and we also trimmed their Rowan. Kurt ended up doing the Deodar.

Tuesday was a nice steady day, with a quick trip to Ilkeston in the morning to take the top off a couple of small Lombardy Poplars, and then in the afternoon we headed across to Beeston where we had received permission from Broxtowe Council to remove all the dead wood from a Atlas Cedar in the back garden of the lovely Pauline Blagdon. We needed permission as she lives in a conservation area. All the work was left to Adam and myself as Kurt had a bit of Spanish tummy and consequently slept for three hours in the van!!

On Wednesday we were again working for neighbours but this time it was the Truemans a little further down the road. Here we removed a Silver Birch and a small Conifer that had out grown their position. Thank you to Mrs Trueman who constantly supplied tea and cold drinks for the myself and the lads in the glorious sunshine.
